The event consisted of two thirty minute races, adding finishing points from both sessions, to give an overall result. Racing on the full 1.2Km circuit.
With 68 Driver’s making 34 Teams, each driver just getting five minutes to practice, both David and Jamie qualifying 3rd for each race- inside second row of the grid.
David finished race one in 1st overall, taking 34 points.
With light rain for race two Jamie took 4th overall in the changing conditions.
With the aggregate result of both races giving them a total of 65 points, two other teams also matched this total. So it was left down to the fastest lap times to determine the overall result.
Leaving David and Jamie to take second place overall.
Competing against 34 teams they were very pleased with the final result, one place up from last year, so the aim is to go back and win the event next time.
